Don’t you just hate it when you order prints of your favorite photos, only to find that your great-aunt’s head is no longer there, or that most of the left of the picture has been cut off leaving the center of your photo left aligned?
If you want to ensure that your photo is perfectly cropped in the app, and once it has been printed, here are a few rules that you can follow whilst you place your order.
Rule # 1
Don’t forget the “double crop”.
You can crop your photo yourself in the Minute Photo app. It’s really easy. All you need to do is pinch the image in and out and then move it to center it again. But your picture will also be slightly cropped by the printer when it’s printed.
Rule # 2
Always leave a small margin for printing error when you crop.
It only has to be a few millimeters, but this way you’ll be less likely to experience disappointment when you pick up your prints.
Check that the subject of your photo is centered.
The app won’t do this for you! You can re-center your picture by sliding it to the left, right, up or down, with your fingers.
Print 1 copy first.
If you are looking to print multiple copies of a photo, we suggest printing just 1 copy to start with to ensure that it comes out perfectly. And this for every different size that you are printing in.
