There are multiple ways to track the printing progress of an order! Here are some of the ways you can determine when your photos will be printed and what you need to know about orders that are not printed within the announced estimated pickup time.
When should my prints be ready?
Stores provide estimated pickup times based on their opening hours and their printing backlog. This time is provided first in the map view for the "PICKUP STORE INFORMATION" section of the checkout page.
Once a store is chosen, a pickup time will be displayed underneath the map next to the address and above the "SELECT THIS STORE" button.
For returning customers, the previously selected store will be automatically selected for your next order. The estimated pickup time is displayed for that store in the PICKUP STORE INFORMATION section as shown below.
How do I know when my order is ready to be picked up?
Once an order is submitted, you should receive an order confirmation email which also contains the estimated pickup time. Normally, this time will be the same as the one that was announced before the order was submitted, however, if the upload took longer than usual, please consider this new delivery time to be the pickup time.
Note: We highly encourage our customers to wait until they receive an email confirming that their order is ready to be picked up before going over to their store.
Why wasn't my order ready at the promised pickup time?
If you haven't received an email that says your order is ready for pickup by the time the estimated time has come, there are multiple things you can do to determine why there is a delay.
First, check the status of the order upload in the Minute Photo app. If the app was closed too quickly during the upload, it is possible that your order was not transferred to your store for printing. To learn more about how the upload process works, please read more here.
If the status of your order is listed as "WARMING UP THE PRINTER", we would suggest contacting your store to determine why there is a delay. While it is uncommon, some stores may still be available for printing even if they are out of paper or if their printer is out of order. Should there be a problem with your store, you can REORDER your prints from a different store and cancel the order from the currently selected CVS.
